So, we’ve got this great group going for cartoonists local to Portland, Maine (and anyone else who wants to be involved) and have had a couple successful roundtables in the past month or so. In short we’ve organizaed little meetings where we get together and talk about our projects, processes, share tips, etc. If you so happen to stumble upon this and are interested, shoot me an email at info (at) swinsea.com or join the Facebook group for updates.

I am the coordinator of Gifted and Talented Services for Down East Schools, (AOS #96, Machias Bay Area Schools), I have a group of boys who are extremely interested and have in the past gotten together to create “graphic novels”. I would love for them to have an opportunity to meet or correspond with, a cartoonist.
