Known for vulnerable memoir and soft fiction, my writing is versatile with a well defined voice. Any genre is comfortably within my wheelhouse if you want compassionate, character-driven storytelling.

I have penned dozens of published comics –– both self-illustrated and in collaboration with other artists, licensed and creator-owned –– that have been published by Image, IDW, Dark Horse, Harvard University, The Nib, Fulcrum Publishing, Iron Circus Comics, and more. My work has been shortlisted for Slate’s Cartoonist Studio Prize and featured in Eisner-nominated collections.

Right now my main projects are Sincerely, Harriet (middle grade graphic novel for Graphic Universe), Sparks (adult comic series to be collected in print by Iron Circus), The Greatest Thing (YA fictionalized memoir for First Second), and a whole bunch of shorter comics.

You can view a full bibliography of my work here.

My portfolio and blog host some completed short comics for your reading pleasure.
